We get a lot of questions about Eternal Grind. Yes, it is very much still in development. It took us a while, but we are back at it full swing. And it it better than ever.
We decided to give it an entire graphics overhaul. We are updating all characters and enemies. We even made the switch from traditional 2D to pseudo-3D. We added all sorts of lighting effects. Check out the examples below! Be on the look out for more EG news as we are working on this every day now.
This weekend the studio took a little break from Wubmarine to participate in the Indies Vs Gamers Game Jam. We entered a game called Hoopity Stick. Its a physics based infinite runner about the classic “Hoop and Stick” game. It would be awesome if you took a minute to go vote for our game!
It’s been a long time since we talked about Eternal Grind. We always get tons of questions about when/if Eternal Grind is ever coming out. All we can say now is… its coming.
But good news everyone! We just got an awesome tool to make the game look 100x better than it did before. We just got a beta copy of Sprite DLight! We can now take the pixel art we have (and all the new art to come) and create awesome normal/spec maps to give amazing lighting effects. We have been playing with it for a day and already are seeing great results.
